The Bakken-Three Forks rig count remained steady at 57 rigs running across our coverage area by end of the week on Friday.

In recent Bakken news, ConocoPhillips announced its 2016 budget last week, revealing they will continue to operate four drilling rigs in the Bakken next year.

Bakken Oil & Gas Rigs

The Bakken oil rigs were at 57 this week with Bloomberg reporting WTI oil prices trading at $34.55 on Friday afternoon. WTI-Brent decreased $1.05landing at $36.88 The Bakken has zero natural active gas rig in the area this week with futures decreasing to $1.77/mmbtu by midday.

Bakken Rigs Decline to 57

The Bakken-Three Forks rig count fell this week to 57 rigs running across our coverage area by end of the week on Friday.

In recent Bakken news, the region's man-camps are fighting for their existence after Williston City voted to let them die.

A total of 709 oil and gas rigs were running across the United States this week. 183 were targeting natural gas (nine less than the previous week) and 524 were targeting oil in the U.S. (21 less than the previous week). The remainder were drilling service wells (e.g. disposal wells, injection wells, etc.) 57are in ND alone.

The Bakken-Three Forks rig count fell this week with 59 rigs running across our coverage area by end of the week on Friday.

In recent Bakken news, it's been one year since OPEC annoucned it would not decrease production and while the year has been brutal, shale is hardly dead.

A total of 737 oil and gas rigs were running across the United States this week.192 were targeting natural gas (three more than the previous week) and 545 were targeting oil in the U.S. (10 less than the previous week). The remainder were drilling service wells (e.g. disposal wells, injection wells, etc.)59are in ND alone.

The Bakken-Three Forks rig count fell this week with 61 rigs running across our coverage area by end of the week on Friday.

In recent Bakken news, Samson Resources and American Eagle Energy plan to sell off their Bakken assets in order to pay back what they owe as part of a restructuring under Chapter 11.

A total of 744 oil and gas rigs were running across the United States this week. 189 were targeting natural gas (four less than the previous week) and 555 were targeting oil in the U.S. (nine less than the previous week). The remainder were drilling service wells (e.g. disposal wells, injection wells, etc.)61are in ND alone.

The Bakken-Three Forks rig count stayed flat this week with 62 rigs running across our coverage area by end of the week on Friday.

In recent Bakken news, the EIA is reporting that oil production data for the Bakken region shows a year-over-year decline for the first time in more than a decade.

A total of 757 oil and gas rigs were running across the United States this week. 193 were targeting natural gas (the same as the previous week) and 564 were targeting oil in the U.S. (10 less than the previous week). The remainder were drilling service wells (e.g. disposal wells, injection wells, etc.)63are in ND alone.

The Bakken oil rigs were at 62 this week with Bloomberg reporting WTI oil prices trading at $42.11 on Friday afternoon. WTI-Brent increased $.76landing at $45.22. The Bakken has zero natural active gas rig in the area this week with futures increasing slightly to $2.17/mmbtu by midday.
